she is on talk talk if that helps
Does Holding down CTRL and pressing the - key a few times work?
Sounds as if she has set her page large (perhaps by accident). Down at the bottom right of my screen there is a scale - we set ours are 125% for ease of viewing - can you see if she has set hers bigger than that? Standard would be 100%.
I think CTRL + 0 brings it back too.
If the display is within her web browser, pressing Ctrl and 0 (that's the number zero, not the letter after N) together will take the fonts back to the default size. Alternatively, pressing Ctrl and - repeatedly will decrease the font size step by step.

If the actual desktop is displaying oddly, she needs to right-click on it and select 'Properties'. Then select the 'Appearance' tab and check that the font size is set to 'Normal'. (If a change is required, it should be followed by 'Apply' and 'OK'). Then click on 'Settings' to check the screen resolution. (It would seem to be too low). Move the slider to the right, click 'Apply' and 'OK'. (NB: When changing screen resolutions, the screen goes blank for a few moments. That's normal and nothing to panic over!).

I have vista, pressing control and minus returns it back to normal. The bottom right hand corner shows the percentage too, mine is normally 100%
I'm not blind (honest) but mine is always set to 150%.
