Has a video ever been made of the original series which starred Ian Hendrie?

they've only just uncovered some fragment of the original programme, haven't they? I don't think anything is available before the Emma Peel era.

There were plenty of Cathy, Emma and Tara videos available once but as far as I'm aware no Hendry. Of 26 Hendry episodes only "The Frighteners", "Girl On The Trapeze" and 20 minutes of "Hot Snow" exist.

All 56 Cathy, 50 Emma, 33 Tara and 26 New Avengers have been released on DVD. They have just been rereleased in France by Studio Canal and are supposedly being released again in the UK courtesy of VCI's Cinema Club (including the 2 and a bit Hendry episodes).

And on the 10th November we get "The Avengers - Must See TV" on ITV1. On the same night "The Avengers: Revisited" and the beginning of a season of Emma episodes turn up on BBC4.
