Many many thanks jwlswann
Flock wallpaper has a K at the end, Floc can't be right.
Floc is given in OED with the clued definition.
This might be of interest: Floccinaucinihilipilification - A jocular coinage, combining a number of roughly synonymous Latin stems.
• flocci, from floccus, a wisp or piece of wool
• nauci, from naucum, a trifle
• nihili, from the Latin pronoun, nihil (“nothing”)
• pili, from pilus, a hair, something insignificant (all therefore having the sense of "pettiness" or "nothing")
• -fication.
