Halloween Food 2

I tried adding this to my previous Halloween Food thread but it didn't come up in the latest posts box (perhaps it was too old?) so didn't think anyone would see it.

Anyway!- We are having a Halloween party and need some disgusting names for the following foods- coleslaw, sausage rolls, cheese & onion rolls, celery sticks and potato salad.

Just to give you an idea of the sort of thing I mean; we have 'Marinated Rat Bones' for twiglets, 'Fried Vomit' for onion bahjis and 'Slithers of Devil's Tongue' for red pepper strips. TIA!

I regard coleslaw as 'Puke' all year round but perhaps something like 'Vile Bile' might be more appropriate for Halloween?

Sausages rolls: 'Zombies' willies', possibly?

Celery sticks: 'Babies' bones', perhaps?

Thanks Buenchico; I have lots of puke based ones already so would rather have non puke based ones for coleslaw although Vile Bile is fantastic!
Oh yeah; thanks Boxtops; will stick to this thread for now cos it's higher up on my list lol!

how about ribs (celery) with pond-slime for dips, sausage rolls could be mummy's fingers, coleslaw shredded frog in bats-milk, potato salad - diced monkey brains, cheese and onion rolls could be rat pate with stinkhorn toadstool!

Brilliant suggestions midnightrider; was just saying the other day that we haven't got any brains based ones! My actual words were 'I don't have any brains!' I wonder if people are actually going to eat food with names like these!

Whata about Dead mens fingers, mini yorkshires, filled with a tomato type of sauce for blood, a cocktail sausage with a slice of flaked almond on the end for a finger nail, my grandkids loved them.

Will you be using paper/plastic cups? If you are, why not pop a drop or two of a natural food colour in the bottom of the cup and make a big ploy of pouring in a clear drink like lemonade and watch the faces as the drink which was clear become a green or a blue colour - of course this would only really work if you were having children at the party

Ah that's a good idea nungate; there will possibly be children there. Will mostly be adults though!
Thanks for the suggestion crandog; we were goin to do something like that but decided it would be a bit fiddly so just sticking to normal food with gross names!
