Shoe stretchers

Does anyone know if these work, if so what do I do with them other than place them in the shoes. Do you dampen the shoes, how long do you leave them in for?

Just leave them in over night... for sure don't dampen the shoes. They simply stretch the leather slightly, depending on the tension you use from the screw or lever devices...
