Make-Up.. What Do Guys Prefer?
24 Answers
Taking inspiration from Sith's thread, i'm curious to find out what the men on here think about women wearing make-up. Do you prefer the natural look, wearing a little to highlight natural features or a full face everyday?

For many men, personality is a far more important factor in being attracted to someone rather than make-up and looks. Even if a girl or woman is good-looking a man will very quickly be turned-off if her conversation is limited to inane chatter such as what's happening in Eastenders, her latest iPod apps, or what one of her friends said to another one of her friends.
As a 49 years old man I've listened to many boys and men chatting out of earshot of women in the past. Many men who are attracted to a girl based purely on their looks are generally those out for short term physical relationships. The girl is generally regarded and spoken about as an object. They are not respected and are usually the subject of jokes and comments, especially if there has been such a relationship. Those women regarded seriously and with respect are generally those who use have attractive personalities and don't rely so much on looks and make-up.
With regards to make-up, I think the amount a woman wears is up her and any man who wants a serious relationship with that individual should respect that. My personal view is that I don't like too much paint and pencils as some women who wear that much make-up can look a little gaudy. It's nice to see the real person.
