Had to break confidence and tell boss. She was then told she was really close to losing her job and she needed to go home that night pack her stuff into car, come to work in morning and not go back. She has, thank god.

So there are understanding bosses about then and you have one. Also one who was able to be strong enough to tell her what to do and make her do it. Good for you 4get - you have done her a favour.

oh yer my boss is a good boss, if you're in trouble you know it. But she has a soft, kind side and I guess it helps that she has been there. I do hope she does ummm.

Where is she sleeping now? Hope she is safe if he is a bully.

not too sure. I havent spoken to her today. But I assume she has left as another colleague was giving her a lift home to her old village

true words alba - have had to do this twice with folk who have broken their stress curves.....they appreciate it afterwards.
