If you leave a re-chargable device, mobile phone/mp3 player etc, connected to the charger, but unpowered, will the battery drain down?

qapmoc answer is nearly correct but is irrespective of wether the said device is still connected to a charger or not. It really depends on the circuitry in the charger. If its a good quality charger then no but I have come accross them that do.
