daughter's ear piercings help!

my daughter has left her earrings out for a week and we can't get them back in.
It's really difficult to even see the hole at the front. has anyone any advice?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Try moistening the ear lobes and posts of the earrings with Vaseline, or perhaps Savlon as they may be a bit sore. Should slide in easily. You can wipe off the surplus after they are in. She really needs to wear them each day for a while. Even after twenty years if I don't wear my earrings for a week or so I can have a bit of a struggle.
Three months really isnt a long enough time for them to heal completely so that you can leave them out for long periods of time, The best thing to do is probably put the earrings in boiling water and clean the area and force them in so that they are clean and then use savlon on them for a few days. Or to get them repierced i think it is recommended by my piercer (not sure about other places) that to repierce the area should be left to heal for about 2-3 months beforehand. Hope this helps
