First time?

For the first time today I actually saw some girls shopping in their pyjamas (had heard of it but never encountered it - still don't understand the point of it). What have you seen or heard for the first time recently?

I went to Liverpool recently and saw lots of girls walking around with those great big rollers in. I was fascinated. I didnt even know people still used rollers! Oh and I once saw an entire familly having breakfast in the motorway service station in their PJs I sat wondering where they had come from to all be in their pyjamas.

Maclaran- Me and Mini Boo do this every year. We travel from Lancs to Cornwall during the night, so get to our campsite first thing.

I always thought this must only happen on rare desperate moments or simply an urban myth... until only a few days ago a saw two young ladies walking to the local shop in PJ's and dressing gown(s)

It was quite late in the afternoon?? the mind boggles.

never seen it in the supermarkets, but it's quite a common sight in the local paper shop, especially in the early morning or evening.

In the good old days women could pop out to the shop in their baby doll nightie with a trench coat on top.
Nobody knew.

There is no worse sight than some poor desperate soul in night attire at the local shop buying their ciggies.
And lighting up outside, coughing their guts up. :(

I went to the pub in my nightstuff once.

i think it should be obligatory to only wear " night attire " to go shopping after 9pm !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Perhaps they had been to a Saturday night Pjama party, and went shopping for a hangover cure :0)
