Outlook - email attachments

Hi, I hope I can get some help.
All of a sudden this morning, when I attack a file to an email I am going to send, it puts it into the body of the email and not in the attachment field.
Any ideas what might be causing this? I am using Office 2003 and have never had this problem before.
