flash player 9

I have an old computer which had F P 9 installed.I have trouble with Java script and cannot run a later version of FP. My daughter tried to update to FP11 and now whenever we click on a video we get the BSOD.
I have tried to download FP9 again but cannot find a site that still hasit. Adobe says they do not support FP9 but allow you to download it but it dosent work. Any ideas please?

Go for the last version of 10.

11 has a lot of issues .. expecially with web-page content and searching clips.

You have to uninstall the old version first before you can install the latest one. Go to the Adobe website and download the uninstaller and run it make sure you restart our computer to complete the uninstall. Now head over to the Adobe website and download the latest and install it.

Flash player enables your web browser to display video content. On many pages that might be restricted to just moving ads (so it's hardly the end of the world if Flash player stops working - it just means that you won't see the ads). But for certain web pages Flash is at the heart of the content. (e.g. both Youtube and the BBC iPlayer rely on Flash Player working properly - if Flash Player has crashed you won't be able to see the video content).

I have done this and Flash player plug in is listed in my list of programmes but it will not play bbc iplayer and it did before. Do I have to activate this somehow?
