My monitor died last night, no probs i thought just pop down to one of the biggest tescos in the coubtry 4 miles away and buy a new one. Could you tell me were the monitors are i ask, very sorry we dont sell them, oh dear me i say i will have to drive through major roadworks to pc world, can i help you a young man with a heavy cold asks, yes im looking for a monitor with built in speakers, sorry modern monitors dont have them,but theses have speakers i say they are only display models with an original price of 90 pounds,do you have any thing at all, he guides us down the shop to a 23 inch acer 220, turned out an expensive day. why dont modern moitors have speaker

Elk mill .Comet bought one last week that was an acer with built in speakers plus it was on offer
I guess low demand. It costs to put audio speakers into a peripheral that's primary purpose is to show the visuals. Better to get the quality speakers you want and connect them separately. Have to say I've never had a monitor with integral speakers.
After all the replies I had yesterday in Technology yesterday I am going to go for the monitor with separate speakers.
I have a slimline monitor that has built in speakers, these broke! so I bought a little pair of speakers, which are better imo..

maybe the reliability of built in speakers is poor?
Yes Cazzz that is what I read on all the reviews that all the built in speakers were poor sound.
