like on facebook...

just a short space under the username, to write notes, like happy birthday aber, or announce your own, or a whatver

it could also cut down on pointless statuses like 'im bored' or 'its hot today' or repetitive ones like 'rip dead celeb' that fill up the boards pushing better ones off

The more I think about it the less I like the idea, we have FB for statuses and I really don't think it will stop the 'I'm bored' type posts.

It's a nice idea, but not necessarily where we should be spending our development time.

I wouldn't mind the site being less warty Lottie to be honest. A clearer design might be good.

Surely part of the charm of AB is its quaint 'sensible cardie' feel

And as people joint the Saga set every day theres a good chance natural topping out will be replaced by new growth at the bottom...

I agree Rowan. It's a comfortable place to keep returning to, a bit tatty in places, needs a bit of sprucing up full of old junk, but it's home.
