Anti Reflux Surgery

Has anyone had Anti Reflux Surgery? My hubby went to see Gastroenterologist this morning to discuss how it went so far with his changed treatment.. They are referring him to see surgeon team to discuss further information. It would be helpful to hear anyone who has had the surgery.

My husband had the surgery (fundoplication) about 4 years ago, He feltso much weller immediately he woke up from the anaesthetic. Sleeping had been such a problem for him for some time, as was lying down

Thank you for your reply bednobs.. Glad your husband got better after the surgery. How old was he when he had it done? if you don't mind me asking. The Gastroenterologist said it should work for my hubby cos he's young (31).
