I saw said film last when I was in my mid-teens (ahem, 25 years-or-so-ago) and thought it was mega-hilarious. With Sim, Rutherford & Grenfell, now could it be otherwise? It's very rarely shown on terrestrial TV (I don't have digital...yet...) 'cos I've been looking out for it for a few years now. It doesn't seem to have been commercially available on video or DVD for a long time either. Does anone know where I might be able to get a copy, bearing in mind it's an old (1950) film? Preferably from a UK source?

Apparently the film was deleted in 1996, however, you might try 'hunting' for it on sendit.com. Good luck.

based on a true story - I believe Michael Heseltine was at the school in question. I taped it off the telly once, very indifferent quality as you may imagine, and have been looking for it on DVD ever since, but no luck.
