This is a very good guide. If you want to work with animals check out your local stables and animal sanctuaries. Are there any open farms near you?

Hi Ellie,
It's really nice to hear from someone of your age wanting to find a job.....
I've been in the pub/restaurant trade for many years, and have always tried to find part time jobs for people as willing as yourself.
If you have any restaurants near you, it is always a good idea to ask if they need any staff, although they will be simple jobs such as washing up or waitressing.
But it's always a good place to start - you get to meet loads of new friends and customers who might be able to find you something more suitable to your skills/hobbies.... (ie. one of my customers runs a dog's home)
The pay is not brilliant to start with, but if you are good to the customers, you can easily double your wages with tips...
But the main thing is - make sure you're safe at all times, especially if working late, get someone to pick you up etc. I'm sure you know all that stuff already........
Hope this helps,
let us know how you go on......
