I live near to a Sainsbury Distribution Centre and I have noticed that all their lorries (owned and operated by Wincanton) have an enormous poppy fixed to their front grill. It is nice to see such a large organisation supporting the Poppy Appeal in such a positive way. Compared to the news item today, about the mindless vandals who are desecrating war memorials, it restores your faith in human nature. Well done Sainsbury (or Wincanton)
i know its fab! Asda delivery trucks round here have them on to. Did you see the artical on the oldest known trench poppy??

We allways wear poppies, and take time to talk to the vetarans selling them and if they are selling them in or near a shop which sells take out coffee/tea we ask if they want onex
Have mine and a purple one too... for the animals that died alongside humans in the same conflicts... especially the springer who was killed by the taliban alongside his handler...

I treated myself to a Buckley Poppy brooch this year via the online Poppy shop, have still popped donations in tins though, Was asked twice whilst out where I got it , so more sales to come hopefully.
