Spacestation sighting tonight over UK 5 11pm for 4 mins WSW departing ESE

Might not be dark enough. There is a second sighting at 6 46pm for 2 mins .WSW departing SSW.

not sure whether i did see the space station last evening, again there was an amazingly bright star/light way up, and wish i had some way to know for sure. Does the space station move at a considerable speed, as this thing seemed quite slow.

Super view both times this evening over Leicestershire. Em10 it don't move at considerable speed it glides across the sky taking the time that I say. either 1 2 3 4 or 5 mins. It does not twinkle or blink. If you see the largest planet it is like that but moving. Thats the best I canexplain it for you.

It doesn't whizz, em, it's a consistent tracking right across the sky. No noise or flickering.

Em- I posted this for you last night but maybe you missed it.

Where ever you are in London stand outside on a clear night at the given time and face south. Imagine you're looking in the direction of Kent, the channel and France. Then look up into the sky and over to your right - think Windsor Castle! The space Station will be a bright light with no flashing lights and moving faster than anything else. It will go over the sky and disappear into the distance out towards Essex.

I hope you see it next time because once you have you'll always be able to spot it.
