Guess this is for the quizz?
44 time apparently. I have a good knowledge of the bible, but I must admit I've never counted the number of times dogs are mentioned - so I googled it.
I can tell you how many times cats are mentioned in the Bible.

Zero times; the same number of times as mobile phones are mentioned.
*times.

Got four more than you Chris. Didn't copy the link though.

Many thanks to you all, yes it for the quiz & I have also googled it but found several different answers. The question just says dogs so in answer to your query ojread2 I can't be more specific.
JonnyBoy - there is one cat mentioned in the Bible.

how many times dogs are mentioned in the Bible 20 times.
Birdie73, If you can be bothered, you can search and count the number for yourself on the website Chris gave.
Maybe it is a trick question birdie - I have heard people refer to German Shepherds as just shepherds. I think that there may be a few of them in the bible.
I did a quick search.

'Dog' = 40
'Dogs' = 25
Sorry, meant to say you don't need to count. The website gives you the total, so those ^^ figures are correct.
