Can anyone help please? I don't know the first thing about Football so I
haven't a chance of answering this question.
Clue: Which player scored the last Football League goal of the 20th century?
The answer has 5.9 letters and the surname has to begin with the letter L.
Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

The last goal scored in the Premier League was by Jody Morris for Chelsea v Sheffield Wednesday on the 29/12/99......
However....The Football Leagues last matches of the 20th century were played the day before.
David Livermore scored in the 90th minute of Millwall's 3-2 over Brentford
He's the man! :-)
