It seems that the supplement is only available in Scotland. The English version of the Record usually has the crossword in the paper itself, but today there is no crossword. This has happened before and is disappointing.

very disappointing indeed Elspeth, what am I supposed to do for the rest of the afternoon without getting off my backside ?thank you for letting me know.
Why couldnt it have been next weekend, I am off to Eastbourne and cant get hold of the DR there.

I agree Dee Sa. It's very difficult to get the Daily Record here, just over the border; our local supermarkets get ONE copy and you have to be there very early to get it. They refuse to stock more - you'd think Scotland was a million miles away! Could have had a lie-in this morning and saved the money.
