Cat shooting
37 Answers
I feel really shocked and upset tonight. I've just found out that a cat belonging to an elderly lady on her own who lives in the flats at the bottom of my crescent has been shot three times with air gun pellets and had to be put down as it was paralysed. I used to 'talk' to it regularly and it was totally unconcerned about my dog and just used to sit and watch us pass by. It was found on our crescent trying to crawl home. I live in a very quiet residential area and cant believe some one would do this. The vet said it had been shot from above probably from a window. It never seemed to wander far and it must be some one local who shot it. How can people do things like this?

I could cry for this poor little cat, just living its life, sitting there watching people go by, totally unaware of the vile monsters in this world who would hurt it, and then it's hurt and trying to crawl home. God, it makes me so mad!!! I'd like to shoot the piece of filth who did this to an innocent little creature. Poor elderly lady, she'll probably be scared to get another one in case it happens again.
We had an old cat missing searched everywhere we could, 3 days later he arrived home trailing his back leg poor we soul. Took him to vet an he had been shot with pellet gun his back leg was shattered. He lived for some years later but leg always dragged behind him. Culprit never found. How can anybody be so cruel.
