Have you ever been the victim of a crime?

I overheard a man talking to his bank on the phone on the bus concerned that his account has been hacked. Turned out to be fine from what I could gather (he was very loud - I'm not that nosy haha) but I wondered how many people on here have been the victims of crime.

house burglary. car stolen. fraudulent transactions on credit card. purse stolen from under the toilet door at a holiday camp. someone stole purse on the tube. swindled by a phoney ebayer - but paypal paid me (they had hacked into a paypal account.

I know someone who had a miniature brandy bottle sticking out of the top of her shopping bag. It contained a "sample" she was taking to the Doctor's

House burgled once.
Caught someone breaking into my car, he got a broken leg, I mistakenly closed the door on it.

20 odd years ago we were burgled. We moved. Since being here we have had the car stolen and burnt out. Only a couple of months ago some scroat ripped the lead flashing from the porch.
