bakers Dozen - was thousands of miles away from UK as a new bride and my hubby bought me 'Country roads' - have to admit I'd barely heard of JD at the time (70's) but loved the LP - gee that's dated me!!!! Regretably never got to see JD but through him became a committed C&W fan and just love Don Williams, Kenny Rogers, Willie Nelson etc

Rsvp - will admit to having 23 JD LPs and also some Kenny Rogers. Only like some country music not all. Like Garth Brooks, Lonestar, Tim McGraw and Toby Keith but also love AC/DC, Rufus Wainwright, Jackson Brown, Nils Lofgren, Joe Bonamassa. Go to as many concerts as I can.

B/doz - garth brookes is great (wasn't he The River?) remember buying a CD of his in Johannesburg, taking it to Oz and playing it non stop for 10 weeks -however the time is a little blurred! Was decades ago.
