pregnancy through sterilisation

a few years ago my fiancee got sterilized due to personal things in her life.
now we are getting married next year and wondered if it was possible to have a reversal on the nhs.

any help would be very helpful.

If you google, it appears that it can be reversed but is only successful in about 10% of cases.

In today's cash-strapped NHS, I would be very surprised if it can be done as a funded procedure, but I could be wrong.

A family lived opposite us at one time, where mum had two sons from her first marriage, then been sterilized. Then divorced, met new partner, had a reversal and had another baby boy. They lived opposite, the family with three little boys - so it worked for her.

Very unlikely to let you have it on NHS. They're not even doing sterilizations now unless there is some sort of danger.

http://www.nhs.uk/chq...117&SubCategoryID=116 the NHS suggest it MAY be available in some areas, but private reversal may cost £2500 + and be 50-60% sucessfull.

depends what method was used initially for the steri...the reversal success rates vary a lot... but realistically its not a lot to save up for the chance of a child... good luck
