Xmas dinner - at home or out??

Im debating whether to go out for dinner for the first time, I spend half the day in the kitchen normally!!

Christmas dinner at home every time....I wouldn't pay the prices to eat out at Christmas. After all it is only a roast dinner that we cook every week, with a few extra bits. Must admit though that I don't go over board with what I buy. The shops are open on Boxing Day. Unless you have shed loads of people for dinner, its not much more than a normal roastie. Don't get me wrong, we have all that we want and need to eat, at a fraction of the cost of going out. And thoroughly enjoy it too. Best start doing some shopping, its not far off!!!!

Is it time to put the sprouts on yet? At home every time, been out twice for Christmas dinner since I got married (OMG! It's nearly 25 years) and much prefer to be home. Do all your food prep in advance and rope in as many as possible to help in the kitchen
