Essentially, what you have to do is, within the message text, delete all the contacts and email addresses.
Hope that helps.
Thanks nigidvitch. When I receive an e-mail, sometimes I am one of many in the list of recipients. If I want to forward the whole e-mail on to another person, how can I send it on without listing all these addresses. For the sake of security, I do not think I should be giving out all those addresses. Am I being a bit fussy? (sorry if I am not making myself clear.....I am not totally au fait with all the pc terms............if you know what I mean!)
I also am never quite sure if to forward things on as an 'in-line text' or an 'attachment' ; it probably won't matter as long as it gets there eh? thanks again
Unless the email contacts all know each other I always delete everyone's email address from the text when I forward emails to a third party.
If you want to clear the email addresses down you would need to forward it as in-line text & then manually delete them from your email (just highlight the addresses & press delete). If you send it as an attachment the recipient(s) of your forwarded email will see exactly the email you received, complete with all the email addresses.
Hmm, good question Oldie29. Off the top of my head I honestly can't remember whether attachments would be automatically forwarded with an email that's been saved as in-line text. I think they are but I'll find out for certain when I get home from work tonight (we can't access web-based email here) & let you know. Watch this space...
You are really kind stoo_pid to take the trouble for me.........even if you have been at 'work' . It does sound as though I'm always sending emails, but I just don't want to forward on anything that can harm someone else or their pc. I do have a problem with people who get a bit careless with security.
I've only been using the internet for about 9 months and I'm really fascinated. It is a valuable tool for everyday life that I wouldn't have believed a year ago. Have a good weekend ....bonfires and fireworks. It was my time last w/e...........on my broomstick !!!!!

No worries at all (must admit we weren't busy at all today!) Just checked & you should find that the attachments do get forwarded automatically even when you select the Forward as In-line Text option. (You should also find there's an option to remove the attachment(s) before you send the email, if you so wish). Hope that helps - happy emailing!
At last I can reply......( 'cannot find server' is -------frustrating.......I 'piggy-back' from computer next door + hotmail can be a pain......got another address, but that's just for friends and family)
Much appreciated your very quick responses and info. exactly what I wanted to know - must now get back to real job - paint brush and canvas; a commission to finish
