Sorry yes, definitely 37 as the answer, but not using 21 of course (!)

No it isn't - y breaks off,hits the balls, fouls and leaves you in a snooker. You have the option of putting him in again or taking a free ball. You opt for the latter as a nominal red.

You pot the red and your cue ball crashes into the real reds, splintering them and they start to drop in the pockets....each red ball that drops add one point......It's all very theoretical so the nominal red plus one for each of the 15 reds equals....? 16. Accidentally sink a "colour" during the process and it becomes a foul shot of between 4 and 7 penalty.
Ah yes of course, should have known that, did it two weeks ago..........
