MarkRae - I have always subscribed to the idea that only Indians can produce a decent curry. Likewise Thai people can produce a decent Thai meal. I think that`s just the way it is.

I sincerely hope that people other than Indians can produce a decent curry, 237SJ, otherwise you might find it difficult to find one on the High Street. Around 90% of 'Indian' restaurants are run by members of the Bangladeshi community.

Anyway, some of the best curries (such as Kang Keaw Wan Kai) come from Thailand.

Ooo I disagree Buenchico. Yes, the best curries in the UK are from Bangladeshi restaurants but the best curries are from Thailand? Really? Thailand does some nice curries but are they really that good?
