Right at the end of the film when they are in the 'Witches' house Heather falls over and the camera lies on it's side (the last scene of the film) what i was wondering is what is Mike doing standing in the corner? Is he just standing or is he doing something/ had something done to him whihc has completely gone over my head.

Hi, it's been ages since I saw it so sorry if answer isn't detailed. Basically there's a part near the start when they are questioning locals about the myth of the Blair Witch and one of them says a story about the 'witch' making them stand in the corner before he/she/it kills them. Something like that anyway! Sorry can't be more specific! x

beggining of the film there is a interview with one of the locals about a child murderer that was arrested in the 50s when several bodies of kids were found in the basement, those kids graves were also found in the graveyard at the very begining too.

Anyway, the legend goes that the Man that killed these kids used to kidnap them in pairs, take them to his basement and then make one of them stand in the corner so that they couldnt see as he killed the other child as he "could feel their eyes watching him otherwise" so he would make one stand in the corner as he killed the other and then kill the one in the corner afterwards!

The end of the film is meant to make u think of that happening as mike is stood in the corner not looking for some reason not known as the girl is obviously attacked from behind and the camera drops. This is to reflect the beginning myth
