I don't understand the new smirnof advert with the man and woman in the car? Can anyone explain it to me?

The same scene plays out three times, and shows a car pulling up and a man talking to his beautiful lover. In the first take of the scene the man tells the woman he knows about her affair and is leaving her. In the second take some of the dialogue is edited out and the man appears to tell his lover that his has had an affair. And then in he final take of the same scene the man simply tells the woman he loves her.

i'm guessing it has something to do withe the fact that Smirnoff is triple distilled, making it more palatable with each distilling, like the guy's message with each editing.

but it's only a theory!

I really loved that ad when I saw it last night for the 1st time. My theory (which I KNOW is wrong, by the way!) is that alcohol can make you believe anything!!!

It is simply a representation of how distilling something 3 times makes it for want of a better word...perfect. And what is more perfect than simply 'I love you'?
