(...handwriting)
I have a small ceramic sculpture that was brought back from the Ukraine some years ago and it has a label underneath with some handwriting on it.
I assume it's Russian, I'd love to know what it says, the sculpture has a certain mystique to it. (Photos available)

Not yet - still working on that one.
I had some inkling that Mark Rae speaks it - may be wrong on that....
Question Author
Possibly, but he refuses to communicate with me.
If you can convert the handwriting to text, google translate may be able to identify the language and translate it. It identified DT's text as belorussian and translated it as Faberge Egg.
If you can show me the photos we will be able to do it for you ...
Sorry you already posed the photo. We're on the case :-)
It's Ukrainian:
Rosul Miroslava Omel'yanivna 1958
Virkovskii Vyacheslav Ivanovich 1950
Bez Nazvi *****, derevo
Uzhgorod 294018 Kirova 17

So, the first two lines are names of people (probably artists) and dates
Bez nazvi = without name. Can't make out the next word (****) - derevo = wood
Finally an address: 17 Kirova St, Uzhgorod (town in Western Ukraine)
Question Author
THANK YOU ...Mwwwwah ! :-)
Still working on that other word - probably a type of material to go with "wood"
