You may not hear me but I hear you
There may be water between us, but I'm near you.
I can see you & know you can hear me
You are not along but I love you.

You are missed by us all can you hear me.
We miss your smile, yes we do.
Can you remember the times, I think you do.
The the Laughter, the smiles, the air so blue.

You may not hear me but I hear you

You have left your love, can you hear her,
She cries out your name, can you see her
Her days are long, since you've been gone
Together over here, we will sing this song,
It's not good bye, but for now so long.

One day we will meet & see you again
We remember the sorrow, the tears & the pain.
But remember my brother remember our cry.
You may not be here, but this is not goodbye.

I lost my brother a long time ago. That's a really lovely poem.

We where very close Tenrec, he died in OZ but left with good memories.

I lost my lovely brother to mesotheleoma 2 years ago and I still cannot believe that he has gone I miss him so much - the poem is lovely thank you TWR

That was lovely.

My brother and I are very different - but we share the same twisted sense or humour, concept of right and wrong and cynical view of the world. I love him (and his family) very much - even if he does call me Crazy Cat Lady. :-)

A crowd of us went to a place called Benllech N.Wales years ago, there was quite a crown on the beach, my brother went in to the water at one end of the beach went underwater fully clothed with an overcoat on, swam around to the main part of the beach & walked out asking people in an Irish accent,No disrespect to the Irish here, could you tell me please, is this England. it was hilarious, we had the same sense of humor

Yep - my brother and I went out to spread my dad's ashes and it morphed into a "Father Ted" type day out. It was a good day - I think dad might have been enjoying it less though. :-)

Thats lovelyTWR. I lost my very special brother on September 16th this year.
I'm still in a daze and cant believe he has gone after a very short illness.
I feel for everyone who has lost loved ones, its so sad and hard to come to terms with it. x Thanks again for lovely poem from the heart
