My 30 y.o. son has been complaining of his feet hurting - instep, inside of ankle joint and now says he can feel it in his shin. I've told him to see GP or Podiatrist.Any ideas Sqad

midgy....could be many things with that description.

How long has this been happening?
Is his ankle swollen?
What is his job?
Is he well in himself?

Thanks for answering Sqad - he has had it about 10 days , his ankles are not swollen, he is a Science Teacher and is well in himself.
The only condition that springs to mind is plantar fasciitis and in which case I would suggest that the first call would be to the Podiatrist.

Let us know what transpires.

OMG- I had that some years ago, it took ages to get right. Went to see Podiatrist, never thought of that. I will tell him the exercises that he gave me and see if it helps.

Once again thanks Sqad. Signing off now for two weeks well deserved hols in the sun!! LOL June

Will keep you posted.
