Anyone know the proper name for the bit that is stuck onto the seat that the seat belt goes into? One of mine has become unreliable meaning that thing 1 and thing 2 have to take it in turns in the front and they are driving me mental - have to get it sorted ASAP. Thanks.

Will do gran. Thing 1 and 2's seat won't go in the very back row of seats (there are two rows of back seats). We only all use the car on a Sunday and an adult (ie me) can tell when the seat belt is not holding anymore but a child can't. It also means I can't pick my friend's children up from school if it is raining. It's only be broken since Sunday (only had it MOTd last Thursday and all was fine then).
If the Locking device ( Anchor) it not holding try spraying some WD40 into the Anchor. if that does not work, go into your local scrap yard & look for the same type of car as yours & replace.
Scrap yard certainly - BUT only if the donor vehicle is not accident damaged!
If it has pre-tensioners .. it will be fun in a breakers.
