Just got in from a trip to Manchester to interview Turn Brakes, and then watch their gig at Manchester Cathedral. Great night with an old friend who has returned from living in the U.S.

Only problem was, followed instructions at Picadilly Station to get the train at Platform 8 - by the time we realised that the message board was wrong, we were just in time to watch our train choo choo off Platform Six, leaving us with an hour wait for the last train, which was full to bursting with drunken Motorhead fans (they wre at the Apollo) but it didn't take the edge of an excellent evening. The TB guys were great to meet, and to watch.
