Seen the cradle snatching post but would like to ask another interesting "would you".
Would you go out with somebody who had the same name as your mum/dad? as I am going out with somebody who has the same name as my mum at the moment and I feel very weird about it.

Have just spoken to my son-in-law whose wife's name is the same as his sister and he says it has never bothered him but..... he said if his wife had the same name as his mum, then he would feel weird about it but it wouldn't have stopped him from going out with her because he loves her.Whatever you do fone don't shout oh yes oh yes Mum !!!

honestly, i probably would, names are very common especially certain names and so i understand it may remind you of your mum/dad but on the other hand, i think you will naturally get used to it.

My brother married a lass with the same name as me (same spelling too) - so for a while both her and I had the same first and last name. Sadly she is no longer with us - throat cancer saw her off at only 53.
