Went out for breakfast today for a change (usually go out for lunch on Sunday) to a chain pub. It was £7.99 for a eat as much as you like breakfast (including all the continental stuff) but for every adult meal bought two children ate free (and the waitress said she would only charge us for two adults even though she really should have charged us more with us having five children). So, for £15.98 we all ate loads. A good deal for a larger family.
It was good actually (quite surprised as we went there for tea on Friday and it was bloody awful). There was loads of choice, probably expensive for just one person but when you get the free children's meals thrown in plus the range of food on offer it worked out relly well for us (and loads cheaper than us going out for lunch).
It was at the local Beefeater - it would have cost me £8 or £9 just to buy the amount of sausages and bacon we ate without all the other things (and I would have had to wash up!).
I wondered what the breakfasts would be like there as when we go for a meal at times they are advertised and I thought the price was good. Nice to know it was good food for the money.
Hi Daisya, it was really good, loads of choice but I would say how much of each of the cooked things you would like (it's cooked to order and I only went for bacon, tomato and mushrooms and should have asked for double of each). Lots of toast, muffins, crumpets and croissants too and cereal and yoghurts. Much better than I thought it would be after the meal we had on Friday night.
