Now you mention smoking I tried for years to give up and couldn't. Each time I tried I just stopped for a week then back to smoking. Until one day I said to myself. That's it no more smoking I want to live to be able to see my grandchilren grow up. Now that is self Hypnotherapy I never looked back and that is 14 years ago.
That's my point. You managed it by yourself....you're lucky you have a strong mind. Most people haven't or we wouldn't be seeing so many overweight people, or people still puffing away...
Some people need a little help to get into their heads...
It still all gets back to self will power as you would need help for evermore and that would be expensive. You still have to do it yourself after any of these treatments. This could be debated for ages but I still say it's all to do with will power hypnotherapy or not.
You don't need help forever more Wendilla. And it's not just about will power either. It's about having that confidence within yourself that allows you to believe that you are capable of achieving your goal. That is really what people lack, including myself before I had the hypnotherapy.
If I were desperate I would try it. But hypnotherapy is no magic 'cure'. It can help but you need to make the effort too.
I suspect you might be better speaking to a practitioner who will talk your situation out with you and work out what the best suggestion to give you, is, rather than plump for one that has predetermined the suggestion they are going to try.
