I thought this was fab last night (after moaning for ages about the same old tosh being acted out time after time) - full of drama! I really like Max's big bro, I think he's going to be a character we'll love to hate - typical east end hardman!

Last night had me crying :-(

I want to know why they were so scared of him.

I know in the early days he fell out with Carol because she married Alan, and he is apparently an out and out racist... hence he was so horrible to her last night. He only appeared for one episode something like 20 yrs ago (it wasn't the same actor then though) but I'm intrigued to know what he has on Pat - she's a tough old bird and never been scared of no1!

It was strange to see Pat so scared...

ummmm - me too, the scenes with Tanya were so emotional, very well acted too. Good to see Eastenders is picking up again.

I remember him from Elizabeth. He played the Earl of Suffolk.

I think the Pat thing may be to do with Carol and David Wickes. Carol was 14 or 15 when she was pregnant with Bianca.

I'm loving 'Stenders at the mo, and agree with the others who have said last night was a bit emotional. To be honest, tonight's episode had me in tears, too :-(
Really like the new Branning brother. Wasn't so sure at first, but think he's playing the part really well. I reckon he's Pats old pimp, too.
