organising a new union

IA, Insomniacs Anonymous, who would like to join. Fee optional, but first criteria, not too upbeat in the early hours, when all else is asleep.

LJ, i often wonder that too, do they want/need the work, and when working, had i been late like that, would have faced a disciplinary hearing and eventually the sack if it continued

exactly. i rang back one set when they didn't turn up to be told "he's busy at the moment bui i'll tell him you rang" since then nothing. We told both sets of contractors we didn't need the work done until after chrissie - in their quiet time - both said "good" but would come and look and see what was needed. we've found another one now who turned up on time, gave a quote (rather high) but we are going with that as they have been helpful. if the others get in touch after chrissie they had it. a phone call to say busy another time is one thing. no hear, no show quite another.

agree about the contractors, they have wasted so much of my time, no shows, or phone calls to say stuck in traffic, and some other lame excuse.

No toast how on earth will we cope, lordy what is the world coming too.
I am about to have second coffee, feeling decidedly dopey, what's new...

i can't eat food this time of day, but liquid refreshment of the coffee type is calling.

oh is a coeliac and found i was throwing out too much bread when bought just for me (one slice a day for brekkie, takes too long to use a loaf) so just gave up buying the stuff.

could murder a doorstep toastie some days.

I can murder a full English breakfast, but not at this time of day, have to wait till the stomach, brain, and anything else engages with the fact it's day time. This still seems like the middle of the night

little lighter, and the day beckons, what for i don't know, but washing needs doing, so guess should get my backside off the chair, and do it.
