Pop-up adverts

Hello.

Can anyone give me some assistance with pop-ups and how to get rid of them?
I browse using Firefox version 8 and have a blocker for adverts installed. This seems to work quite well for most things except lately i have been getting small pop-ups appearing which include the line ' powered by Pricegong '.
What do I need to do to block these?

All assistance appreciated.

The chances are you've installed it yourself:
Uninstall PriceGong: http://www.pricegong....nstall_PriceGong.aspx

Thank you for that assistance. It was not in the programs but it had attached itself to a toolbar. I have disabled it as instructed in the link you provided. We shall see how that goes.

If you want browser speed .. don't use add-on toolbars at all.
