The pointless invention thread

1. The Leaf Blower. It blows leaves. From one place to another.

2. The kindle. Its a book that needs batteries; 'but it can store 30,000 books!' I hear you cry. So does the library, who's going to read that many in a lifetime? Thats 1 day for over 82 years.

oh yes definitely, i have usually filled in the order form with at least 4 things before i stop and rethink... and then bin it... haha

i can see how somethings would be useful to the elderly or to a pro chef or something but to the average user most would just sit in the cupboard unused.

The bonger in the car that bongs if the keys are in the ignition and the door is open yet remains silent if the engine is running and your driving along with the door open, which just seems stupid to me.

i love my kindle and dishwasher. however, i have a melon baller which i've never found a use for.
