Steam Mops

Has anybody had any great success with a particular Steam Mop? I bought one from Ebay, it had been used but was cheap and I wanted to try it out. It worked a treat, until it blew up and knocked all the lights out in the house. I then bought a brand new one from QVC a VAX, it was very heavy to use, so I sent it back.

The fault on all of them is, they seem to soak the floor, despite watching the demonstrations on the shopping channels. They come with stupid thin covers that at totally not adequate. I bought some extra covers, lovely thick ones from Ebay, they came from Taiwan, and are brilliant, trouble is now I don't have a steam mop for them to go on. (:O(

Can anybody recommend a good one.

I think they make light work of mopping loads of floors, but I have looked at different reviews on different makes, but can't seem to find one that I would be happy with.

Thanks Chris I did all that but the conclusions are inconclusive, often contradicting each other, also amazon has had a problem with fake reviews.
