I have a 4 month old kitten who has wet poop named Harley. This is the second time it has happened. I had him for one month and then my husband and I got a second kitten. The second kitten had wet stool and gave it to Harley and both of them were put on an antibotic by the vet for parasites they both had. Harley and hunter have both been dewormed and up to date on all of their shots. They have been tested for all of the tests the vets ask. After the antibiotics was completed Harley and hunter had normal poop and now two weeks later only Harley has wet stool again. Has anyone else had this problem? What could it be? Is there anything I can do to help stop it? He has normal behavior and I will be going to the vet next week but just wanted some information. Thanks

Also both kittens share a litter box and eat hard food. Harley has really bad gas as well. I don't know of that has anything to do with it
When I first glanced at your post I thought what a strange person calling their cats poo Harley, seriously though I can't really help but I'd imagine kittens are like puppies at that age, it doesn't take much to give them an upset tummy, I'd just keep an eye on him, he'll probably settle down gain but if it does persist it's got to be off to the vet again
MY old cats had this when they were kittens - kept passing it back and forth for months! The only thing I could do apart from giving the medication supplied by the vet, was to feed them bland stuff that was easy on their wee tums - boiled rice and chicken, white fish etc. It cleared up eventually and they both lived to ripe old age :)
Had the same with a cat I had years ago. In the end the vet recommended James Wellbeloved catfood. That did the job, he was as right as ninepence after eating that. So was the cat.
Are you giving them the same food as they were given after being weaned? I had this problem with my cats and had to change their food as the kitten food from being weaned was upsetting their tummies. So changed their food and have never had any more problems

Thanks everyone. Harley seems to be doing better but its been a back and forth struggle. I have kept them on the same food the pet store weaned them with and I guess I'll ask the vet what he thinks is the best to do for them. I just want him to feel better :)
