COOKED STEAKS>>>>>UPDATE

The below-mentioned frozen cooked steaks today went into a Jamie Oliver recipe for a lovely stew with half a pint of beef stock and half a bottle of red wine (plus,of course all the other veg). I saw the recipe on the internet with hundreds of comments on how nice it was.....and it REALLY was!!! The steaks I defrosted in the microwave and they sliced up like cutting through butter, and they were really excellent....All in all a really excellent stew and my rating would be 11/10...John

Google "Jamie Oliver stew recipe"and click on Jools Favourite...I used a lump of pumpkin instead of squash,used no garlic but 2 bay leaves and totally forgot the lemon zest...You must give it a try!!! John
