I'm surprised to find I'm starting the thread as this particular puzzle was pretty straightforward after a few tricky ones.
I thought last week's wouldn't have shamed The Listener.
No real surprises and I sometimes think that setters must have been very happy when a certain South African golfer arrived on the scene!

Once the whole perimeter was filled in there wasn't much left to do! Now if a setter could work "Schwartzel" into the wordplay...

Drat, I thought that I'd completed this EV due to having rested my brain for the last 2 EVs, and now you tell me it was easy! I did manage about 75 Telegraph Crosswords while away, to keep the little grey cells exercised. It was interesting to note how time warped some clues were. I was doing the DT Cryptic Crossword Book number 1. Have books 2,3 &4 lined up for the next few holidays, 240 crosswords in each!
