Actually just a wee update ...you have always shown interest as have alot on here so thank you!

Last essay submitted (on warfarin admin-chose topic myself)

2wks left roughly on management placement and thats me done and dusted!!

Got application for nurse bank which is a BIG turn up for the books cos they werent even answering the phone at one point, and the SCN of the ward has agreed i can use her as a reference,

She also has offered to sit down and both compile a list of pointers for interviews and what SCN wants to hear from potential applicant.

so, when are the final results out ? is the bank at a hospital of your choice ? one of my sons friends graduated a few months ago, has a position 3x12 hour shifts in a nursing home, my advice for her was, take the job, because if it is a good nursing home she will have great " hands on " nursing experience, it may not have the buzz of an acute medical/surgical ward but will be very rewarding. keep us posted. anne

Bank is over 3 sites but yes i could choose where! Results will be january...its a reflective essay, i DO have the diploma and degree (PHEW!)...

However ANY permanent job...ill snatch it...got to keep myregistration up! X

No, sorry tinks, been having a bad time recently and although I've been around just couldn't face speaking/typing to anyone. Was in a very bad place for a while but hopefully now on the mend. Still just taking one day at a time though but feel like I've turned a corner. God, so many cliches in one post! Trouble is they are all true. Good luck with the job search lovey. xxxxx

We all need a little time out at times, especially after your heartache....but you know where everyone is on here when you need us!

Hope you have had time to "gather yourself".... this is a horrible time of year for you to face so soon, i hope you have turned a corner!...but you cant be hard on yourself, take all the time in the world .....and to top off the cliches.......the sun WILL shine again ....i always believe that, mabye not as bright.....ooooh BIG cuddles!....go look at my post "sugarcraft" in f&d....give me marks out of 10 hahah xxxxxx

Love the cake tinks. I just kept thinking of Pingu looking at it, lol.

I think it was everyone talking and all the ads about Christmas that set me off a couple of weeks ago and set me back so much but have now decided what I am doing so have come to terms with it. Going to stop beating myself up so much now and realise that I am allowed to enjoy myself. I'm sure Gary would want me too as well. xxx
