Despite the mockery I think it a fair point that the customer should be informed how much caffiene they are getting. With such a massive variation between outlets you can not possibly know for sure. It always tastes strong doesn't it ?
What I was less able to understand though was why the expresso was sometimes containing less caffeine than a cup of instant. Surely one buys expresso because it gives you a fix of caffeine ? (That said I understand the other coffees seem to be expresso with other things added to dilute it, water, milk, whatever, so maybe any concern should be with the other coffee types ?)
